Bộ lọc nhỏ giọt hồ cá koi là một bộ lọc tích hợp, chủ yếu là để lọc theo nguyên tắc vật lý và lọc sinh học.
Bộ lọc nhỏ giọt hồ cá koi được chia thành nhiều lớp (các lớp lọc nhỏ giọt được xếp chồng theo từng lớp của bể lọc theo một thứ tự), các bể lọc ở trên là bể lọc chứa các lớp lọc vật lý, nơi đặt các bộ lọc chính với một bông lọc vật lý, trong khi đó các lớp thấp hơn là các lớp lọc theo nguyên lý sinh hóa, nó thường được cấu tạo bởi các loại vật liệu như: mây, bông, nhẫn thủy tinh, bóng thạch anh, đá nham thạch chứa vi khuẩn khử nitrate.
Giải thích:
+ Lọc vật lý là hình thức lọc dựa vào kích thước của màng lọc nhỏ để loại bỏ đi các chất rắn lớn hòa tan kém hoặc không tan trong nước như: thức ăn thừa của cá, phân cá, lá cây rơi rụng,…. Ví dụ đơn giản là lọc bằng tấm bông lọc hồ cá là lọc vật lý. Lọc vật lý là bước lọc đầu tiên nhằm loại bỏ những chất thải lớn ngăn ngừa làm tắc nghẽn cả hệ thống lọc.
+ Lọc sinh hóa là lọc bằng cách sử dụng quá trình trao đổi chất giống như trong tự nhiên của vi sinh vật nhằm loại bỏ những sản phẩm thải độc hại của cá như: amoniac, nitrate, mùn bã hữu cơ giàu dinh dưỡng. Bạn có thể tưởng tượng bộ lọc này tái hiện lại quá trình phân hủy ngoài tự nhiên của một xác chết bởi vi sinh vật. Ví dụ: một con chuột chết để ở ngoài trời một thời gian sẽ bị phân rã bởi vi sinh vật nếu không có con mèo nào ghé ngang qua (ví dụ hơi kinh tởm nhưng thật ra nó tương tự như vậy đó)
Bộ lọc nhỏ giọt hoạt động theo nguyên tắc làm tăng lưu lượng nước tiếp xúc với không khí do đó làm tăng lượng oxy hòa tan trong nước, tạo ra môi trường sống tốt nhất cho vi khuẩn hiếu khí, ức chế các vi khuẩn yếm khí gây hại.
Ưu và nhược điểm của hệ thống lọc nhỏ giọt hồ cá koi
Ưu điểm:
1, Hiệu quả thông khí rất tốt, tác dụng lọc sinh học là quan trọng nhất đối với hệ thống lọc nhỏ giọt, do tiếp xúc với không khí, chức năng của các vi sinh vật hiếu khí sẽ đạt được cực đại, các chất độc và vi khuẩn yếm khí gây hại sẽ bị loại bỏ trong hiệu ứng hấp thụ nước.
2, Thiết kế nhiều lớp nhỏ theo chiều dọc, sẽ chiếm một không gian tương đối nhỏ.
Nhược điểm:
Lọc vật lý yếu, nếu tích tụ quá nhiều chất thải rắn sẽ làm ảnh hưởng đến hiệu quả của toàn hệ thống lọc.
Bề mặt lọc là quá nhỏ, thời gian của nước được lưu giữ lại trên bề mặt bộ lọc quá ngắn và do đó nước không hoàn toàn được thanh lọc sau khi ra khỏi hệ thống.
Tiếng ồn, vì nó được tiếp xúc với không khí, thông thường sẽ có tiếng ồn.
Ảnh hưởng đến mỹ quan của hồ koi, bộ lọc nhỏ giọt chiếm diện tích theo chiều dọc được sắp xếp trong hình dạng rất khó để che giấu, sẽ ảnh hưởng đến vẻ đẹp tổng thể.
Điện năng tiêu thụ tương đối cao cũng là một vấn đề lớn.
